My name is Laura and I’m a 23-year-old psychology/health and wellness graduate. I believe in taking a holistic approach to well-being and am deeply passionate about nutrition and mental health, in particular. I completed my undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University in psychology, and then went on to complete my post-graduate certificate in Workplace Wellness & Health Promotion at Centennial College.
It wasn’t until my final year of university that I truly became more interested in health and personal well-being. I’ve spent the past few years learning new ways to adopt healthier habits and creating more life balance for myself. One of the biggest (and best) lifestyle changes I made was switching to a plants-based diet. I suppose the technical term would be “lacto-ovo vegetarian”, meaning I still consume dairy products and eggs.
I created this blog to share information and ideas with others about how to create more life balance by inspiring small changes that promote healthier living. I’m not an expert when it comes to cooking, but I love food and I love experimenting with new, healthy recipes! Every week I try to post a new “Meatless Monday” recipe that will hopefully leave you feeling inspired : )
Thanks for checking out my blog!
Be Well xo
